HOW TO MAKE MOCHAKOTTAI KUZHAMBU
- Wash and chop brinjal, tomato, onion. Peel garlic. Wash mocha kottai. Keep in water.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker & temper it. Saute onion, garlic, curry leaves. After it turns golden, add tomato and saute till mushy.
- Add the ground paste, saute till raw smell goes off.
- Add tamarind extract, chopped brinjal, jaggery, salt and pressure cook in low flame for one whistle.
- If the gravy is thin, boil till thick. Serve hot with rice.
